With the development of IT industry and the intensification of enterprise competition,small and medium-sized IT enterprises need to enhance their competitiveness if they want to stand firm in the tide of the Internet.As the main productivity of IT enterprises,"talent" has the characteristics of strong independence,professionalism and mobility.How to retain talents and motivate talents has become the key to achieving strategic and sustainable development for enterprises.The case of Murong Science and Technology Company is a medium-sized IT enterprise which is preparing for listing.It is not long after the establishment of the enterprise,but it develops rapidly.It needs a set of perfect performance appraisal system to standardize the day-to-day management,to achieve the unity of personal goals and organizational goals,to realize the enterprise strategy,and to benefit the future development.The article is divided into four parts.The first part elaborates the research background,performance appraisal theory and literature review,emphatically introduces the relevant theory of the key performance indicators appraisal method and the differences between other methods;the second part introduces the performance appraisal status of Murong Technology Company,analyzes the existing problems and analyzes its establishment and improvement of the performance appraisal system.The third part designs a KPI-based performance appraisal system for the company,including the selection of KPI,the setting of weights and the selection of evaluation criteria,as well as the implementation of the object,cycle,process,results feedback and other details;the fourth part summarizes from the perspective of the enterprise as a whole to effectively implement the performance appraisal system needs to be completed.What aspects will be good.Taking Murong Science and Technology Company as an example,this paper designs a performance appraisal system based on KPI according to the characteristics of the enterprise.While standardizing the daily management of the enterprise,it encourages the employees,retains the talents,and aligns the personal goals of the employees with the strategy of the enterprise,which lays a good foundation for the way of listing the enterprise and promotes the core competition of the enterprise.Competition is conducive to long-term development of enterprises.And it can provide some reference and reference for the performance appraisal system of similar enterprises.
