Since the opening and reform policies, the economy of China has got greatdevelopment. But simultaneously the problem of regional uneven development ismore and more serious; hence we urgently need to solve the reality of unevendevelopment of regional economies. In allusion to the Center, the state put forwarda slogan of "Mid—China's Rising" to attract more capital, so improve its backwardsituation. But first we need a sound environment to attract outside funds andtechnology, the provinces in the Center only have a objective, accurate scientificcomprehension and comprehensive assessment, can improve their own condition.Then they can absorb capital, make use of the capital, enhance the investment benefit,and accelerate the development of the economy.Although all the provinces belong to the middle region, but their concreteinvestment environment exist different places. This article designs the index system,of evaluation of regional investment environment, basing on the thoroughunderstanding of the investment environment and its appraisal method, and uses thefactor analysis of modem multivariable statistics, to analyze, appraise and compareinvestment environment of six provinces in center.According to the comprehensive analysis and qualitative analysis, we candiscover the differences between their respective investment environment as well asreasons cause this phenomenon. Through the comparison, we know accuratesituation of these provinces' investment environment, then may dearly knowinsufficiencies and improvements. Aimed at these situations, we put forward somecountermeasures and suggestions to improve the Center' investment environment,which will do some value in the rising of the Center.
