Zhejiang province is situated in the forefront of economic development of china, and its economic system is transformed from the planned economic system to the market-oriented economic system. Although the economy in zhejiang province has developed very healthily in recent ten years, the structural contradiction(dual structure, industry structure) is main contradiction of economic development in zhejiang province at present, and economic structure adjustment will be the main feature for economic running currently.As a region featured by excessive labor supply and low quality of labor force ,the economic structure adjustment and upgrade will inevitably influence the employment of zhejiang province. The factors as whether the employment structure is reasonable and the labor force allocation is efficient will also have an impact on economic structure adjustment. Hence, it is a realistic problem with great significance for how to promote employment and boost more harmonious development of national economy in evolutionary process of employment structure, under dual context of employment structure with fierce change and ever-growing employment pressure.This essay utilizes relative methods as normative analysis, empirical analysis, system analysis and comparative analysis to do common theoretical analysis of evolutionary mechanism of employment structure from three angles as labor supply , demand and system transition ,and uses this theory to analyze the employment structure evolution of zhejiang based on this. Simultaneously ,this essay also analyzes the effect brought by employment structure evolution. Finally, this essay puts forward some policy suggestions to optimize the employment structure combined with the reality of zhejiang province depending on the evolutionary mechanism of employment structure.
