Employee satisfaction is always discussed in the management of human resource. With the development of market-oriented economy and the increasing intensification of talent competition, enterprises have realized that employee is the most valuable strategic asset as well as the most important governable resource. To some extent, the employee satisfaction determines the growth as well as the future of enterprises. Therefore, modern enterprises have to value employee satisfaction and improve the extent of employee satisfaction and royalty so as to enhance the interior management, cohesion and competitiveness of enterprises. A company will develop only if employees improve and the development of company will bring more benefit to employees, which is the concept of"win-win". Employees will devote themselves to the growth of company and integrate their individual view of value and pursuit with enterprise culture as well as growth objective only if they have certain satisfaction and royalty.Under the circumstances of three reforms of personnel system, state-owned enterprises should pay more attention to the interest of interior employees, motivate their enthusiasm and give full play of their potential so as to improve employee satisfaction, which has become the top task in the management of human resource of state-owned enterprises after their reconstruction. Meanwhile, to some extent, the study result of employee satisfaction before and after reconstruction has demonstrated the effect of three kinds of reform of personnel system and provided more reasonable theoretical foundation for the management of human resource in the state-owned enterprises.This paper conducts a comparative study on the survey and analysis of employee satisfaction before and after reconstruction. It studies the mentality and behavior of employees and summarizes the main factors which influence their working behavior. Finally, it gives several suggestions on how to improve employee satisfaction.This paper has five parts.Chapter I is Introduction, which tells the background, significance, purpose and methods of this study. Under the background of three reforms of personnel system in state-owned enterprises, different attitudes and behaviors of employees are mostly related to their satisfaction. With regard to state-owned enterprises, the investigation and improvement of employee satisfaction will enhance the pertinence of management, the working enthusiasm of employees, their working efficiency and strengthen company culture so as to absorb excellent talents and prevent existing employees from resignation, which has important bearing on gaining competitive advantages. Meanwhile, enterprises will get enough valuable information from the survey of employee satisfaction and make use of it after further decision. This study adopts questionnaire about employee satisfaction and the statistic analysis soft of EXCEL. It takes the basic analysis and average analysis to evaluate the employee satisfaction so as to get the comparative result of employee satisfaction before and after reform. By means of two questionnaires before and after three reforms, it aims to examine the index of questionnaire and get to know the changes of employee satisfaction, which helps enterprises accomplish the long-term objective of three reforms, improve personnel distribution system and enhance interior management.Chapter II explores the research achievements on employee satisfaction. Firstly, it makes an overview about the status quo of research and application about employee satisfaction. The evaluation method on and employee satisfaction can be divided into two categories, namely, Single global rating and Summation Score, but both have to adopt company satisfaction measuring table, for example, MSQ and GSQ. Secondly, it sums up the status quo of its study and application. In domestic field, there are two ways, one is to use questionnaire table with further interview, which is based on qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis; the other is to improve the foreign measuring table by combining the mentality and behavior features of employees. Finally, it studies the concerning literature on the three reforms of state-owned enterprises.Chapter III explains the basic theories on researching employee satisfaction. Firstly, it narrates the definition and characteristics of employee satisfaction. Satisfaction is a complicated structure with a series of contents, such as difficulty, complex, working volume, integration and meaning of the job, which is related to work itself. It includes environmental factors, such as physical environment and culture environment, especially relationship factor, system factor and result factor. Satisfaction has four features, namely, totality, multi-dimension, sense of living and dynamic trend. Finally, it summarizes the domestic and foreign theories and case study on the contents and influential factors of employee satisfaction, which leads to 5 factors and 22 indexes: (1) working condition includes premise layout, site environment, working ways and working time; (2) working factor includes curiosity, challenge, self-realization, the matching of right and duty; (3) working return includes salary, welfare, promotion, sense of achievements and earnestness; (4) interpersonal relationship includes exchange of views, informal organizational activities, coordination of conflicts and organizational support; (5) total factor of enterprise includes view of value, corporate image, participation, satisfaction with directors and satisfaction with corporate strategies.Chapter IV conducts a comparative study on employee satisfaction before and after reconstruction of Property Management Company. Firstly, it introduces the background, business scope, operating situation, organizational structure, human resource strategy, corporate concept of the enterprise. Secondly, it explains the distribution, contents and statistics of questionnaire. Thirdly, according to the statistic data, it evaluates, analyzes and compares the employee satisfaction before and after reform in terms of 5 factors and 22 indexes. Finally, it adopts the interview method to examine the factors and indexes of employee satisfaction.According to the study result, Chapter V summarizes that the enterprise has advantages on such 4 aspects as the improvement of personnel management, the realization of equity of promotion, the establishment of harmonious interpersonal relationship as well as good working environment and working condition. It has such three disadvantages as employee's training, participation and communication. In regard to the disadvantages, it gives some measures to improve employee satisfaction from such three aspects as unique total training system, intensification the employee's participation and enhancing the smoothness of communication and coordination.This paper introduces the literature and related theories on employee satisfaction, explores the method about employee satisfaction survey, evaluates and analyzes their satisfaction before and after reconstruction of state-owned enterprises. The study indicates that some changes have taken place after the reform and finds out the potential factors which depress employee satisfaction. In conclusion, it gives several suggestions which are conducive to the accomplishment of corporate long-term objective after the reconstruction, improvement of personnel system and intensification of interior management.
