With the rapid development of social economy, sustainable development of each corporation, even increase of national economy, considerably depend on the human resources. Scientifically management of human resources is the key step in corporation running, moreover, performance evaluation of faculty is one of important steps in management of human resources. However, there are several severe problems in performance evaluation of faculty in Baiyin Wangxian Cement Ltd Corporation due to neglect importance of performance evaluation by administers, which serves as one of reasons in restraining corporation development.Under such circumstances, the status of performance evaluation of Baiyin Wangxian Cement Ltd Corporation was analyzed after investigation of evaluation systems. Several problems in performance evaluation were found, which are as follows. 1) Objectives and functions of performance evaluation were not clear, so evaluation became a mere formality. 2) Mechanism of performance evaluation was not perfect, check-up was paid more attention than evaluation. 3) Communication between administers and employee was not smooth, so advices from employee could not rapidly reach to administers.To resolve these problems, performance evaluation system was redesigned in this thesis, which included overall indexes of performance evaluation system, methods of performance evaluation system correspondence to developing stage and scale of corporation, weight allotment for index of performance evaluation system, improvement of communication between administer and employee, and objective evaluation of performance. Such systems would accelerate performance of employee and corporation development.
