Study On The Transformation From Convention&Exhibition Resource Into Tourism Advantages

Convention & Exhibition industry is an emerging industry with the process of globalization. Since the reform and opening up ,this industry turns into exist and becomes more and more developing. It comes to be a new growing point for the tourism development . Nowadays, more and more cities begin to develop Convention & Exhibition economy. It promotes the construction of the city infrastructure, the adjusting structures and the influence of the city. What is more ,most of the cites hope it can promote the transformation of tourism products and the improvement of industry structure. How to use the resources brought by Convention & Exhibition ,especially the new opportunity for urban tourism is the main study point for this article.With the application of competitive theory, external economy and the dynamical mechanism for urban tourism development ,This dissertation put forwards a model to transform the Convention & Exhibition resources into tourism advantages. This model aimed at providing the patterns and approaches to take advantages of the resources to develop urban tourism for the emerging Convention & Exhibition cites that own the bid to hold the periodical Convention or Exhibition.This dissertation consists of introduction, body part composed of four chapters, the first two of which are on the theory analysis and the other two of which are on the analysis of theory application, and the conclusion part.The first chapter and the second one, introduces the background of subject selection, research value, conditions available, problems encountered and original points and define some relevant concepts; summarizes the documents related to the theory of recourses transformation and the status quo of research home and abroad; explains the applied analysis methods and contents arrangement.The third chapter set up the transformation model which is a main point as well as hard one, by the calculation of the Convention & Exhibition resources and the application of the related theories and the guidance of the transformation goals and approaches .Chapter Four practically analyzed and evaluated Convention & Exhibition resource in Nanning. Chapter Five studied on the Convention & Exhibition resources transformation into tourism advantages and put forward means and measures. The dissertation made a conclusion with a study prospect.
