| The industry of Convention and Exhibition in Beijing, as quickly increasing as it is, has a bright future and big potential for development. During the"the tenth five-year plan"period, Beijing is among the top three cities for the impact of Convention and Exhibition industry. The Convention and Exhibition business also becomes the core engine pushing the economics in Beijing. In 2009, there are 253 Exhibitions hold in Beijing. And the revenue has been increased by 20%-30% over last year. It was projected that the total revenue for 2010 will be 15.1 billion to 22.6 billion Yuan. There are 20 brands Exhibitions in Beijing which are recognized by the UFI, So it is critical to have a study of the brand Exhibitions. Beijing Brand Convention and Exhibition has already taken shape, therefore, the study of its development will bring both theoretical and practical significance. This thesis is focusing on Beijing brand Convention and Exhibition, discovering its development trend and main factors of impact, in an effort to provide theoretical and practical enlightenment for Beijing Convention and Exhibition industry.This thesis is divided into four chapters:Chapter 1 is the review of brand Convention and Exhibition, which summarized the research background and defines the standard of the evaluation of Convention and Exhibition industry. Chapter 2 studies the current development of Beijing Brand Convention and Exhibition, which has described the history of Convention and Exhibition industry in Beijing and China, provided further analysis of the characteristics of Beijing Brand Convention and Exhibition, and studied the current problems existed during the development of Beijing Brand Convention and Exhibition. Reviews and preliminary studies in Chapter 2 have provided the bases for further studies in Chapters 3 and 4. Chapter 3 is the core of this thesis. Firstly, the study of Beijing Brand Convention and Exhibition development tendency has provided some thoughts and approaches of its future trends. Secondly, this chapter has provided some real case studies of the impact of Beijing Brand Convention and Exhibition, and discussed the primary factors that affect its development. Chapter 4 is focusing on thoughts and suggestions of Beijing Brand Convention and Exhibition, which include the transformation of government functions, and personal training , etc. this study suggest that , the trends of internationalization, Innovation, and E-commercialization are the major trends of Beijing Brand Convention and Exhibition development; Industrial environment and management level are the main factors that affect the development of brand Convention and Exhibition. |
