China's economy is booming, following the policy is opening to the world constantly and people's needs are going up. It is against this background that the outbound travel of China rose quietly, and it has been rapidly expanding. As that the study of China outbound travel is becoming the academic focus. The fields of study include tourism, economy, international trade and society, but the area of study is limited to Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai,where are three central guest source ground of China outbound travel. Based on lots of investigation of materials and questionnaire survey, this thesis makes a deep study on tourist behavior of outbound travel for Jinan. The basic theory of the paper is ethnology, marketing, geography, psychics, economics, demotics, management science and so on.Based on developing of china outbound travel and current situation of study at home and abroad, this thesis puts forward the research method and ideological line. Following that, the thesis deals with basic theory, mainly including some theory of ethnology, the Distance Decay rule, and the Marginal Utility rule and so on. According as these basic theory, the thesis analyzes in very great detail the environment about outbound travel for Jinan, such as economic environment, cultural environment, rules and policy environment, technological environment, transportation environment, then analyses the market pattern of outbound travel for Jinan. By a lot of questionnaires and second-hand materials, it systematically analysis the tourist behavior of outbound travel for Jinan, for example, human statistics feature of outbound travel, decision-making behavior of outbound travel, consumption behavior of outbound travel, the experience evaluation of outbound travel and the demand forecasting of future outbound travel. At last, the behavior characteristics of outbound tourists are summarized. Because tourists are the primary components of tourist market, the thesis analyses the outbound travel market by the behavior characteristics of outbound tourist's analysis. Firstly, the thesis analyses market pattern of outbound travel for Jinan in whole country. Then, it analyses the degree of maturity about ADS and some deficiency of outbound travel market currently. Lastly, to these deficiencies, it introduces the measure of nurture about outbound market for Jinan by the behavior characteristics of outbound touristsAs a whole, by in-depth investigation and comprehensive analysis, it draws the conclusion of the study: I, the behavior characteristics of outbound tourists for Jinan; II, the market pattern of Jinan outbound travel which represents Shandong province in whole country; III, setting the degree of maturity about destination of outbound travel market currently by Life cycle; IV, the deficiency and the measure of nurture about outbound travel market for Jinan. The innovation about the thesis is cognitive degree analysis of outbound travel, time and space analysis of outbound travel; the market pattern of Jinan outbound travel and the degree of maturity about destination of outbound travel market; the experience evaluation of outbound travel and the demand forecasting of future outbound travel by mathematical method; and the design of model view about the Outbound Travel Supply Chain for Jinan. At the same time, the thesis discusses some deficiencies about itself, for example, the study about the field of travel on business and travel at public expense; no systemic measure about travel at public expense and not returning in overseas against law, which are research directions about outbound travel in the future.
