With China's rapidly economic growth, the continual increase of the income of residents, the choice of destinations continued to increase, The outbound travel of China has been rapidly expanding. In order to guide the development of outbound travel, the theoretical research have emerged, the study will address outbound policy, outbound market, and many other aspects of the procession, the study area is mainly confined to China's outbound travel in the three main source of Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai. But there is none for the outbound travel of western region of China, on the basis of this background, this paper is choosing the Xi'an city to stand for the western region, from the standpoint of individual behavior to study for the western region outbound travel characteristics , under the vast amounts of data analysis and the investigation, as a guide, tourist behavior has been developing a in-depth research with the guide of consumer behavior ,marketing, and other related theories.In reading a lot of papers related to information about domestic and international present outbound travel market and the future trend, the writer proposed the research methods and research ideas. Research led to the framework, first of all, on the basis of the Institute's main theoretical basis, including consumer behavior, marketing, and other related theory in a solid theoretical foundation, the article detailed analyzed of the economic environment, the culture environmental, the legal policy environment, and the traffic environment of Xi'an outbound travel, as well as the overall pattern of Xi'an tourism, and with a large number of survey and analysis of second-hand information from tourists in Xi'an demographic characteristics of the decision-making behavior of outbound tourism, the main impact of tourism , this paper has drawn the decision-making behavior patterns of outbound tourists and provides a viable marketing proposal for tourism enterprises of Xian.Through in-depth investigation and comprehensive study ,the conclusion has been arrived at, as follows:â‘ the characteristics of decision-making behavior about Outbound tourists in Xi'an;â‘¡differences of outbound travel behavior about different market segments;â‘¢the main factors about impact of Xi'an residents choose outbound tourism destination;â‘£differences about attitude and behavior of outbound tourists. The main point of this paper reflected in the innovation of Xi'an residents outbound tourism decision-making behavior, the different demographic characteristics of tourists in the travel time and the travel space, on this basis it provides some viable marketing proposals for tourism enterprises .
