The Research On Cost Control Method Of Project Management In Thermal Power Construction

With introducing and deepening of the power market reform,Electric Power enterprise has developed market competition step by step. This change will affect the project investment of electric power enterprise certainly. In other words, the thermal power project possesses the characters of long-term construction and large-scale investment, once it operates, investment cost will transform into fix cost of enterprises management. Therefore, it is the inevitable choice which adjusts to the demand of power market competition for electric power enterprise to reduce the investment cost of thermal power project continuously.This thesis is on the basis of the experience which the author gets from engaging in the management of several thermal power projects, and it carries on empirical analysis and theoretical study centering on the method of reducing the cost of thermal power project. This paper applies a number of innovative thoughts to promote thermal power project cost management levels, such as, the use of electricity development cycle to achieve the project cost control, game theory used for economic analysis of the engineering project bidding, application of the time value of fund and total quality management theory to control costs, and other thinking.
