Study On Ecotourism Development Model In Taihang Mountain Region Of Hebei

As a practice form of sustainable development tourism, ecotourism was considered tobe the first and inevitable choice. Studies on the theory and practice of ecotourism havebecome a hot spot. However, many theoretical studies on ecotourism are not yet mature,and the linking of theory with practice is weak. Therefore, it is essential to enhance theresearch on ecotourism development and management, to guide the development ofecotourism in practice and realize the ecotourism's sustainable development. Taihangmountain region is concentrated of poverty, how to eliminate poverty in this region,accelerate the pace of local residents to get out of poverty, is always a hot issue in HebeiProvince. This thesis chose the Taihang Mountain region of Hebei as the research object,the objective of the study is to put out the ecotourism development model suitable to thisregion, thus providing guidance for the practice of ecotourism. Through collecting andcollating a lot of information, firstly, this thesis analyzed the background of ecotourism,defined the ecotourism concept, and summarized the present situation of ecotourism athome and abroad.Through researching the typical cases at home and abroad, summarizedtheir successful experience in developing ecotourism; to provide reference for exploringthe ecotourism development model in Taihang Mountain region of Hebei. Through theon-the-spot investigation, summarized the Profile of Taihang Mountain region of Hebeiand the present situation of its ecotourism development, analyzed this region'sopportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses in developing ecotourism by SWOTanalysis method and proposed the corresponding strategic match. As a core component ofthis thesis, proposed the ecotourism development model in Taihang Mountain region ofHebei, including the developing model, management model and marketing model. Thedeveloping of Taihang Mountain region's ecotourism should base on the resource and bedrived by project. Practice the multi- benefits compatible management model whichgovernment, communities, tourists and tourism enterprises participate in; Conduct marketresearch and make a marketing strategy, proposed the culture marketing, experiencemarketing and green marketing idea, constructed a internet based multi-channel marketingand joint marketing model. Finally, with the present situation of Wolong Hill ecotourism scenic spot, make case study of ecotoufism development model in Taihang Mountainregion of Hebei.
