The Study On Evaluation Of Land Use Degree And Land Use Multi-efficiency In Taihang Mountain Area Of Hebei

With the sustained fast development of national economy, a state of imbalance is appearing between the growing demand and scarce supply of land resources, so how to make use of land resources intensively and efficiently to improve the land use efficiency has become the first and core issue to realize the sustainable utilization of land resources. The thesis tried to explore the internal relation between land use degree, which represents the state of land utilization, and the land use efficiency, which represents the result of land utilization. Based on the scientific evaluation, the thesis proposes some feasible countermeasures to the existing issues for the sustainable development of local eco-economy, society and environment.Taihang Mountain area in the west of Hebei province, with the particular natural environment and longstanding humanism background, provides guarantee for the ecological security in North China Plain and the Bohai Circle Economic Region. Under the theme of sustainable development, the thesis took the land resources in Taihuang Mountain area in Hebei as investigating object, by evaluating and analyzing the land use degree and land use multi-efficiency, it reached the following conclusions:1.The number of counties, whose rank of land use multi-efficiency has been improved compared with that of land use degree, is growing year by year in 1995, 1999 and 2004. During the study period, the change of land use degree is in accordance with that of land use multi-efficiency in most areas, and the region with consistent change in the period of 1995 to 1999 is wider than that in the period of 1999 to 2004.2.Most regions in GradeⅠandⅡof land use degree,whose rank of land use multi-efficiency is improved in comparison with land use degree, are mostly in GradeⅢland use multi-efficiency, but the number of regions is decreasing year by year. In areas of GradeⅥland use degree, which mainly in GradeⅢland use multi-efficiency, the rank of land use multi-efficiency declined comparing with that of land use degree. The relation between land use degree and land use multi-efficiency in areas of middle level land use degree is not so apparent, and it is becoming weaker with the time.3.Generally speaking, the higher the land use degree, the better the land use multi-efficiency. But, when the land use degree reaches certain level, increase will be seen in the trend that land use multi-efficiency goes against the land use degree.
