In the last years, "Digital music" is one focus in Information Industry, Entertainment Industry and also in Venture Capital Industry.Digital music is an important content supporting the 3C (Computer, Communication, Consumer Electronic) convergence, is an important service provided by TIMES (Telecom, Information, Media, Entertainment, System) Transformation of Telecom operations, is an important sign suggesting the growing up of "populace culture".The principle is that, the digitalizing of music and relevant playing method reduces the cost (in producing, distribution and marketing) greatly. That creates the "Long Tail", while reducing the dominance of Record Firms in music industry. In one word, digitalizing makes the revolution of Business mode in music industry.And copyright is the core of business model in digital music. It is "tax" that describes the relation between copyright-owner and user. The majority law affairs of digital music are on copyright. Most scholars of law hope to perfect law lists to control pirate, but most scholars of economics analyze the effect of digitalizing on current copyright system and alternatives.The dissertation describes the revolution of business model in music industry firstly, and then analyzes generally the effect of digitalizing on music copyright and business model. At last, under the current copyright system, the dissertation analyzes the relations between major participators in digital music industry by game theory methods.As "Long Tail Theory" described, music industry was one of the earliest culture and entertainment industry affected by digitalizing. So the study of digital music could lead the studies on copyright and business model of other culture and entertainment industry.
