The Cultural Adaptation And The Difficult Inheritance Condition Of The Diet Custom Of Luchuan Hakka

The cultural adaptation and the inheritance are always a large territory to which cultural anthropology and folklore pay attention together, the former scholar precisely discoursed on the cultural adaptation of other ethnic groups from different angles. In view of domestic research results, scholars'research material is sufficient and accurate, the discourse is careful, the opinion is profound, which has made a better demonstration for our successor's research. But, the cultural adaptation of Guangxi Hakkas'diet custom is always research vacancy and the academic scotoma of academic circles. In order to make up the research vacancy of the academic circles, this paper selected Wushi Village which is a pure Hakkas Village and belongs to Luchuan County located in the southeast of Guangxi, explained how the Luchuan County Hakkas' diet custom adapts to the new times and the new environment in detail, and discussed the latent questions in the process of inheritance and the solution .This paper tries to use the theories of folklore, anthropology about participates in the observation, in-depth interview, the viewpoint of explanatory anthroplogy, the exchange between subjective and objective perspective as well as the dynamic changes to show Hakkas diet cultural appearance in Wushi Village Luchuan County .Moreover,place Hakkas diet customn in the background of the violent social changes , reveal and interpret the hidden rule of cultural adaptation . The author once has gone into Wushi Village Luchuan County three times for fieldwork, tried to acquire the information of Hakkas diet custom from multiple perspectives , collected rich and first-hand materials. According to the meaning of diet custom, the paper described the local Hakkas diet custom from these four aspects :various diet in the different life situations of Hakkas ,unique drinks, the space and process of food production, eating custom. This paper elaborates under the control of multiple factors Wushi Hakkas is how to make positive adjustments to adapt environment, analyse the interaction and restriction between diet custom and the ecological environment, ethnic group's psychology, generational cognition , tourism development as well as traditional invention and so on ,and explore the difficult conditions of the local diet cultural inheritance in detail ,at last, make some suggestions for reference.Hakkas migrated from Fujian province to Luchuan County during the Ming and Qing periods, adapted to the local natural environment ,for example, unique resources, geography, climate and other, the original Hakkas diet cultural tradition, integrated with the local cultural factors, used their talent to create a unique Hakkas diet cultural system of Luchuan County. Luchuan Hakkas diet culture reflects the idea of the positive adaptation to the ecological environment,for example,the selection of raw materials, the use of cooking, the arrangements for the special meal and eating habits. Meanwhile, it is experiencing the impact because of the global mobile population and culture, in the face of the impact of external industrialized civilization, Hakkas who is known for tolerance, wisdom and compatibility is no longer passively used to be, they try to give those industrialized food which have beautiful and decent packaging the emotional value, make it be included in the gifts network of Hakkas community. Meanwhile they take an active attitude to invent and creat the traditions, now produce a series of dishes which are considered to be Hakkas cultural symbols, such as Baiqie pig, pig burning ,Kourou juan, and strive to increase the space for ethnic group'survival and development.At present, the Hakkas'diet custom which is considered to the value and significant culture obtain the approval of the majority, but its latent difficult condition of cultural inheritance makes us feel anxious to its prospect. In view of the actual situation of countryside community and WuShi jie in Wushi village Luchuan county ,generally speaking ,Hakkas lack the cultural consciousness . on the one hand they don't identify Hakkas culture awarely, on the other hand they lack the effective methods of Hakkas cultural inheritance objectively. The Hakkas culture isn't important and significant in the mind of Hakkas, this bad condition will be inevitably disadvantageous to its future development and expansion. In view of Hakkas'realistic condition in Wushi village Luchuan, the author suggested we will start from festival and education , with the moderate and reasonable tourism development, raise and inspire Hakkas'cultural participation and consciousness gradually, at last ,make them change the idea and the value identity fundamentally. At the same time, the study has multiple significance in theory and in practice.Taking the diet custom as the study object ,it promulgates the implication and significance of Hakkas'culture in Luchuan county, as a real material supplement of the local Hakkas cultural study and many kinds of culture of Chinese nation; it enriches the library of the Guangxi Hakkas studies, to some extent ,it is an example to later study ; it provides the suggestion about the development and using of the local diet resources, is consistent to the spirit of constructing the harmonious society which the government is advocating, is advantageous to the local economical development and human construction;it is helpful to understand the folklore of Hakkas in the southeast of Guangxi, makes the exchange and communication between various ethnic groups smooth, also makes contributions to the stability and advancement of Guangxi autonomous region.
