Research On Ecological Environment Response Of Rugao City's Land Use/Land Cover Change

There is close correlation between land utilization / land cover change and ecological environment quality. The land utilization that is humanity's water and soil development operation has caused the land cover evolution, affected the surface landscape pattern structure and the change, and changed the ecological environment pattern. That has brought huge influence to the partial, the region, and even the great scope ecological environment quality.Take Rugao City as the research object, through on-the-spot investigating and performing the statistical analysis to Rugao City's land utilization data (1997-2004), Rugao City land utilization change characteristic is obtained: during 1997-2004 year, Rugao City's residential and industrial mineral land and transportation land has largely increased; the reduction of cultivated land and garden plot was attributed to construction land expanding; unused land has reduced much. Through calculating the land utilization speed change using the land utilization dynamic degree formula, it is obtained that Rugao City unused land's and the transportation land's dynamic degree is bigger than others; the water conservancy facilities land's and the residential and industrial mineral land's dynamic degree is next; the forest land dynamic degree is the smallest. Use land utilization and ecological environment coordinated development model to carry on the appraisal of the region's land utilization's ecological environment response. It is obtained that Rugao City's land resource use social economy synthesis benefit level (0.69) is lower than the ecological environment quality level (0.76).At this basis, the coordination land utilization and the ecological environment regulative measure has been proposed, mainly from such aspects: ecological land renovation division; the construction of ecology network; the land utilization pattern that adapt to socialism new country.
