Tomatoes and products have an important status in the global vegetable trade. During the past ten years, tomato production and trade developed rapidly. China's tomato production is the first place in the world and its trade of tomato products plays an important role in the worldwide trade of vegetables. Now, China becomes a new star of the tomato trade in the world, and has a powerful influence.Recently, the trend of China's tomato products trade is driving and it is still developing prosperously. But we should notice that although China's tomato products trade develops rapidly, it still has lots of problems.On the one hand, the proportion of fresh tomato trade is low in the wodd tomato products trade. On the other hand, the paste tomato trade develops dramatically but its key markets are excessively concentrative. The quantity of other tomato products trade is small and doesn't have enough competitive capability. At the same time, China's tomato products trade is restricted by technical barriers of international trade. All these problems need comprehensive and systematical analysis.With the direction of international trade theories, trade economics, industry economics, vegetable commodity economics, the paper comprehensively analyses the trade of China's tomatoes & products by using various methods such as comparison analysis. The study also follows the principle such as combining macro-analysis with micro-analysis, joining empirical studY with canonical study, integrating quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis. On the premise of collecting abundant data, the paper explains the inherent disciplinarian and trade character of China's tomatoes & products and analyses its inherent influencing factors.The paper is composed of six parts. The first part is introduction. In this part, some questions are advanced, for example: the objective, the meaning and method of this research, the domestic and international research trends, the framework and thinking of the paper and the creative points of the paper.The second part is the chapter 2.The author introduces the characteristics of world tomato production and consumption .In this chapter, the author analyses the situation and the trend of world tomato products.The chapter 3 analyzes China's tomato production and consumption in brief. In this chapter, the author summarizes the characteristics of production structure and consumption of China's tomato products trade. The important analyses in this chapter are the situation and the trend of China's tomato products trade, including its quantity, direction, market structure.The chapter 4 introduces the index system of trade performance to estimate and review performance of China's tomato products trade. The chapter 5 analyses the interior and exterior factors which affect the export of China's tomato products, which is good for tomato products export in China.In the last chapter, the author puts forwards a series of policies, measures and countermeasures for development. The paper tries to solve the problems which China's tomato products export confronts.
