Theory And Empirical Study Of Urban Spatial Structure Evolution In Coal-dependent City

City development is a continuous course, urban spatial structure writes down the orbits of human activities and city development in a unique way. Affected by geographical environment difference, each city has a unique development orbit and spatial structure, which relates to its social and economy development. Therefore, study on the progress of urban spatial structure evolution, put forward optimizing and reconstructing proposal, there are important theory meaning and practice meaning. In recent years, the urban spatial structure has always becoming the most important issue and hot to such subjects as urban geography, city economics, society and so on.Coal-dependent cities as one of the most important urban types in our country, play important role in economic development and social development for our country, meanwhile, Coal-dependent cities face some problem such as resource depletion, ecosystem worsening, industrial structure is unreasonable and space structure need optimization. This paper takes a typical Coal-dependent city-Huainan as a case, the universal theory and methods about the evolution of urban spatial structure have been applied in this paper. Under the background of industrial transformation, and on the base of case study on the historic evolving procession and impact factors in Huainan city, make recommendations of Huainan city spatial structure optimizing.The thesis is divided in to five parts altogether. The first part is preface, on the basis of expounding the background, the purpose, the meaning and the thinking of the thesis study, briefly introduce the research achievements of domestic and international urban spatial structure and coal-dependent city; the second part is theory foundation, mainly introduce the connotation of urban spatial structure, the relative city development theories and the mechanism of urban structure evolution; The third part is the analysis of Huainan city spatial structure evolution, along the historical venation of city development, on the basis of analyzing industrial structure change, focus on and sum up the characteristics of spatial development and form, meanwhile, analyze factors which influences the spatial development; The fourth part is base on analyze current characteristics of Huainan city spatial structure, put forward the optimizing proposal for main problem; The fifth part is conclusion and discussion.
