Since China opened its door and entered on reforming, Chinese companies has more and more feel the pressure coming from market and foreign competitors .For developing their managerial level and competitive capability, they turn to advanced information system------ERP.With the increase investment and developing process of informationization in China, ERP system has been implemented by more and more enterprise to integrate and deploy enterprise resources for improving their managerial and competitive capabilities. ERP software, which came from America first and then was developed mostly in western countries, represents the most advanced managerial thought and pattern in the world. However during its implementation in China, it has encountered the culture clash between eastern and western 's. The implementation results were not so good. So there was one saying that Foreign ERP software does not fit Chinese context'. Many researches has studied on it in order to improve successful rate of ERP from different point. One of the fundamental reason is that people have paid little attention to the influence of culture on ERP implementation. The author wants to make it clear that the nature of the impact of corporate culture ,how it works and how to diminish its effects.In this paper, the author starts with literature summarizer, then analyzing the characteristics of ERP software ,the culture embeding in it and its need for change in many parts of the enterprise. Following this , the author makes a study on the inertia of culture and the nexus between organizational culture and IT implementation,especially focusing on the impact of Chinese corporate culture on the ERP implementation. Then a framework of changing corporate culture which was combined with the implementation process is proposed. At the last, a case is supplied for supporting the system info.
