Research On The Evaluation Of The Competitiveness Of Regional Tourism Industry Under The Sustainable Development Situation

The tourism industry in china has made a historical progress from the large tourism resource country to the great tourism country in Asia, and is marching towards the world tourism power. The fast development of tourism industry has quickened the fierce competition in the traveler's market among the area. It has become the focus how to get sustainable development for the regional tourism industry under the sustainable development. Therefore, it is of great significance to make use of the regional tourism competitive evaluation and improve the competition ability based on the evaluation results. This paper puts forward an evaluation model of the competitiveness of regional tourism industry by analyzing the general evaluation methods. It has also used the model to evaluate the regional tourism competitiveness and obtained the evaluation results by using the AHP method. The results are applied to appraise the regional tourism industry competitiveness, which has the important significance to the development of the Chinese tourism industry.The paper is divided into four parts. Firstly, it briefly introduces the background and gets the definition to the competitiveness of the regional tourism industry and sustainable development on the basis of the former researches. Secondly, it sets up the evaluation model and a series of index of the regional tourism industry competitiveness based on a large amount of relevant references and uses the AHP software to get the weight of each index. Thirdly, it analyses the competitive situation of the regional tourism industry quantitatively and the current situation and the unbalance development of tourism industry in different regions. Finally, the paper proposes several suggestions to enhance the sustainable development of the tourism industry according to the results.
