Research On The Issue Of Port Group's Competition And Cooperation

Driven by the economy globalization,inception of Reform and opening up police and obtained WTO membership, China has attained an high annual average growth rate for its national economy and international trade. As a consequence, China's ports have developed at very fast speed. At present, we have builded five ports groups such as the delta of Yangtse River ports group,the delta of Zhujiang River ports group,the Bohai ring area ports group,the Southeast seaports group and the Southwest seaports group.The unhealthy competition among ports in the region will make bad results like wasting ports resource, constructing overage or leaving port unused. By realized of that ,oversea ports groups have adopted different cooperate methods to avoid internal excess competition and reinforce the whole group's competition strength. Our port groups in a disorder situation has a vividly constract against the oversea ports proups' success which enforce us to think about the issue of competion and cooperation in the ports proup.It is bases on the industry cluster theory, congregate economics, port economics, competition strength theory and evaluation method to study and explore the issue in competition and coopration of the ports groups.This thesis focuses on the research work in four fields: (1)Through learning the industry cluster theory, congregate economics, port economics, it defines the conception of ports group, analyses the reasons of port gathering and ports congregate economics. (2)By comparing the evaluation methods, it makes the evaluation method and index system fit for the ports in the region.(3)By comparing and analyzing the competition and cooperation patterns of oversea port group, it summarize three organize forms and conclude all the cooperation matters.(4)As Bohai Ring ports group an example, it studys Bohai Ring's own problems and conceives unique organize form fitting for Bohai Ring port group.
