Research On The Issue Of Bohai Ring Area Port Group’s Competition And Cooperation

Economic globalization and shipping alliance demands the ports establishcompetition and cooperation relationship， and economic globalization also putforward higher request to ports. The competition of the ports among different areas isbecoming increasingly fierce. Strengthening the cooperation between the ports, is theeffective means to prevent excessive competition and the inevitable choice, also is theinevitable requirement of scientific development concept.This paper is to link the Bohai ring area ports groups as the research object,discuss and analyze the competition and cooperation of the Bohai ring area portsgroups deeply. Bohai region has become the third "economic growth pole", after thepearl river delta, the Yangtze river delta. The development of economy providesopportunities and great challenges for ports.These ports should not only bear the huge pressure from busan port, yokohamaport etc, is also facing internal competition. The unhealthy competition among Portsin the region will make bad results like wasting port resource, constructing overage orleaving port unused.Based on the above reasons, the paper will research the competition andcooperation problem of the Bohai ring area ports group, with the help of economics,management, SPSS data analysis software, many kinds of relevant yearbook. Thepaper is based on port group theory, competition theory, port competition andcooperation theory. Then it analyze and evaluate each port and fix their function usinghierarchy factor analysis method after the analysis of the present situation and existingproblems of Bohai ring area ports. After the above, conceives unique organize formfitting for Bohai ring Port group by learning the successful competition andcooperation patterns of oversea port group. The form will provide reference for thefuture development of Bohai ring area ports group.Finally, the study of the paper made a summary of the system and pointed outport competition and cooperation of research prospect.
