The Party's Three Generations Of Collective Leadership's Thinking On The Issue Of Agricultural Development

As a special socialist country, the specific form of China is decided by its actual national condition. Leading hundreds of millions of people to realize the socialism modernization is the common wish of every generation party leaders. However, the development quality of China agricultural directly relates the socialism modernization construction of the whole nation. Therefore the previous party leadership of every generation all poured plenty of painstaking into the development of agriculture. During this period, they have made the prominent historical contribution, but also presented several mistakes. This paper strives to research the problem about the path of the agricultural development, objectively estimate the success and failure of the agricultural development and summarize the experiences and lessons to make China's agricultural development forward toward the correct direction.The paper divides into three parts:The first part mainly carries on the overall understanding to the foundation of agricultural position. The Party's three leaderships all realize the importance of agriculture in the China's economic development and social stability and solving the food problem. Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy and social development. Without the development of agriculture, other industries'development will be seriously restricted. Because of the different period of them, they have some different views on the status of the agriculture in the national economic.The second part mainly elaborates the direction of the agricultural development. It is affirmative that China agricultural needs to walk the path of the socialism modernization. Without the agricultural modernization, there is not the consolidated socialism. China's agriculture modernization is unprecedented. It passed through the unremitting efforts of the Party's three generation leaders and then had the present achievements that agriculture gained. In the unceasing exploration, they established the theory of the agricultural socialism reformation and realized the socialism modernization of agricultural. In the beginning of the reformation and opening, the theory of"two leaps"indicated fully the development direction of the rural reformation and set up the aim of the agricultural development path. Setting up the aim of the socialism market economy system requests that the rural economy system adapts with the socialism market economy. It also requests to take deepening the rural reform and setting up the new rural economy system that adapts with the socialism economy as the basic method of increasing overall economic beneficial results.The third part mainly elaborates the exploration about the measure of developing agriculture and realizing the agricultural modernization. On this question the Party leadership of three generations made different elaborations and their main thoughts inherit. Firstly, it is necessary that the collectivization leads the mechanization. Secondly, we should adjust the industrial structure of countryside and vigorously develop the commodity economy and take the integration path of"industry–agriculture-trade". Finally, we should carry on the strategy of"strengthening agriculture through science and technology"and change the method of increasing agricultural economy and promoting our country's rural economy by the science in order to raise the agricultural productive force. The Party's three leaderships always pay much attention to the effect of the technology in the national economic. From the"technology change"of Mao Zedong to the"two relies"of agriculture of Deng Xiaoping to the"strategy of developing the country by technology"of Jiang Zemin, We have found the urge of agriculture development and developed the scientific view. The development of the rural areas and agriculture is urged not by the weather but by the technological development.The path of developing China agriculture is winding and rough. It needs that the Communist Party leads our all people to solve this question. In the present stage agriculture is the first place that needs to solve in the"three agriculture". The direction of developing agriculture correct or not must adapt the development of production and meet the basic benefit of the whole farmers. Although at present there are many difficulties and problems, China communist Party has the zeal that the heart concerns about agriculture, countryside and farmers. They also have the decision to build the socialist new countryside. All of these make us have the reason to believe that the future of China agriculture will getting better and better.
