Project-Management In The Enterprises Of Planning & Design

Although Planning & Design Industries have been operated based on the projects for many years, they have never applied the project management really into practice. After entering into WTO, Planning & Design Corporations will be faced the market and equally competed with international corporations. Therefore, Planning & Design Industries have to adjust and improve the function and organization systems that can be adapt to those of international engineering companies, establish the modern project management rules, promote the project management completely, and strengthen the competition ability.This thesis researched the characteristic of planning & design industry and the situation about international competition in China mainland, and, after analysis on academic history and on-going development on project management, analysis the differences of the corporations in the aspects of organization structure, intercultural management, wage and inspiration, other management on PMs and industrial competition, show the genesis of this subject. Based on the finished questionnaires and relevant accessing, the author showed some actualities on PM in this kind of enterprises, with further analysis on the exposed problems and disfigurements. Some directions and suggestions are brought forward in this thesis, in order to offer valuable reference to the readers especially on the real operation of PM.
