Enterprise Independent Innovation And Growth

Countless facts show that a country is impossible to gain the initiative and respect without high scientific and technological levels and independent innovation capacity. And there will be no equality of exchanges and cooperation in the international stage. The independent innovation is the fundamental guarantee of technological progress.The Fifth Plenary Session of the Party's 16th Central Commission stressed that technology development must adhere to the "independent innovation, focus leap, support the development and leading the future," and took the development of independent innovation as a major strategic plan in the "11th Five-Year Plan" planning. The enhancement of the independent innovation capability eases the contradictions of resource constraints in the transformation of the economic growth mode. The strengthening of the independent innovation ability enhances the country's competitiveness and risk-resistance. Enterprise innovation is the basis of a national innovation system. Technological innovation is that enterprises apply the new technology, including the new organization and new management structure, to achieve economic growth. Recent years, China's capability of independent innovation continually increased with many major breakthroughs.The purpose of this study is to use the method of the qualitative and quantitative analysis to inspect the relationship between the independent innovation activities and the growth of enterprises, and to show that independent innovation plays a significant role in the growth of high-tech enterprises. Finally, this article offers proposals concerning how to promote independent innovation.
