The competence on talents is the most important thing with the coming of information times. Headhunting, one of most effective way for hiring top talent in most western country especially TOP 500 multinational companies, is still brand new to Chinese enterprise, study and research in this field is almost blank. This thesis is to make market analysis and work out market orientation through case study, and propose possible competition strategy for Chinese headhunting business development.Started from the current status of headhunting in United States and China, based on the theory of Industry Structure Model and Resources Structure Model, the thesis analysis the outward environment and internal resources of A company. And the writer outlines the best competition strategy for such company as result of research.In the first part of this thesis, the writer illustrates the current status of headhunting industry in United States. Then he makes further study in headhunting companies in China. The comparison shows great gap between western and China, however it also predicts great potential and business opportunities for local company. He makes analysis on macro environment of headhunting company by PEST method and then discusses the economic characteristics of the headhunting industry and five competition factors comparisons. Further analysis is made in detail on Company A by SWOT. Illustrate the greatest advantage, the greatest disadvantage, the greatest opportunity, the biggest threat. The writer also makes analysis on three cost section of consultancy, sales and after-sale service based on value chain and points out A's comparable position and competent priority. In conclusion, the best strategy for Company A in the fierce market competition is Differential Policy.The writer reviews long-time strategic development of this industry and his study will be valuable for Chinese executive search enterprise.
