The Research On The Regional Economic Competitiveness In Counties Of Chaohu City

As with the development of global economy, the competition between areas is growing more intense. If the regional districts take part in global market competition along with deeper development, one important way is to make full use of regional advantage by relating various resources. A powerful regional economy can thus be formed when the competitiveness is strengthened. The regional economic competition is the important impulse to the sustainable development of regional counties. County is the primary administrative unit of our country. County economy is the basis of national economy and its development is the key to the prosperity of our nation. However, the efficiency of county economical development is not high in most districts. The key point in increasing the development of county economy is to structure competitiveness of regional counties. The article takes the developing Chaohu City as the example to make study on county economy, in the hopes that some useful ideas can help counties realize the sustainable development by making full use of opportunity and depending on their own advantages. The first two chapters focus on the significance, the feature and the theory of regional competition. This part also studies the factors and conditions that influence county economic competitiveness and evaluation. The third to the fourth chapter describe the present condition of ChaoHu's development and analyze the factors that affect the competitiveness of Chaohu's economy. The fifth chapter puts theory into practice of ChaoHu and then puts forward the principle and means to increase the competitiveness of ChaoHu, on the basis of the previous analyses.
