Landuse Structural Changes Of A Small Town In The Rapidly-Urbanizing Area

The accelerating industrialization and urbanization in Sunan is resulting in rural and urban integration. Private economy booms and the industrial zone expand in Xinzhuang, which well represents the developing small towns in Sunan. By taking a close look at Xinzhuang district, we can learn the characters of the urbanizing process in Sunan, as well as the land use structure.The research contains two parts, the character of land use structural changes and the reason of these changes.For the first part, the paper makes a conclusion of the social and economical history of Xinzhuang. Based on these backgrounds, the paper first analysis the whole land use structure, which include land use scale, growth speed etc. Then this paper analysis the change of landuse forms and functions.The second part represents the reasons of these landuse changes. The paper anaylsis this problem from three points, the development value, the landuse regularity and the contradiction of administration and construction.In the end the paper make five conclusions. The government aims at economic growth too much which result in the rapidly expansion of the construction land. The manufactured land lead the expansion. The threads of land supply will be the restrict of future development. The land is concentrated near major corridor while separated in whole region. The different property right of land and hard to change the ownership is the barrier of the centralized strategy.
