Upgrading The Competitiveness Of Industrial Clusters

Industrial Clusters, as a kind of important form of the modern economic layout, has become the important development strategy of speeding up the regional economy, and the level of industrial clusters competitiveness concerns the economic development level of an area directly. On the basis of making investigations to the current situation of industrial clusters in Henan Province, this paper has mainly carried on research on how to promote the Henan industrial clusters competitiveness, and has proposed promoting measure and suggestion specifically from firm, cluster, government three levels.This paper is divided into four parts altogether:Part one is the foreword and a general introduction of industrial clusters competitiveness theory. It explains the main theories about industrial clusters competitiveness at present, and analyzes the source of industrial clusters competitiveness and forming mechanism.Part two analyzes the current situation of industrial clusters in Henan and its competitiveness. Combining relevant statistical data, this paper has carried on serious research to Henan industrial clusters from scale, regional distribution, trade and developing stage, especially analyzes the competition advantages and disadvantages of Henan industrial clusters.Part three analyzes the growth experience and enlightenment of other industrial clusters. This paper has selected three successful domestic and , international, industry clusters to summarize and analyze conscientiously, which are industrial clusters of Italian small and medium-sized enterprises, clusters of new high-tech industry of Silicon Valley, U.S.A and the industrial clusters in Zhejiang Province. We hope to promote the Henan industrial clusters competitiveness by probing into their successful experience.Part four aims at the research of the countermeasure of promoting Henan industrial clusters competitiveness. This paper thinks that it is the inevitable choice of improving them to develop characteristic industrial clusters actively, to construct region brand, to establish favorable innovative environment and to take the road to sustainable development. At last this paper proposes the concrete countermeasures and suggestions of improving Henan industrial clusters competitiveness from three levels of firm, clusters and government.
