Study On Evaluation System Of Port Logistics Capability

Today of rapid development in the economic globalization and information technology, the obtain of enterprise's production and the rang of product marketing are expanding day by day, the social production, circulation of materials, goods trade and management style is continuing to change in deep. As the pivot of the comprehensive transport network and the important component of modern logistics service, ports are facing new opportunities and challenges. China has long coastline and drainage basins, rich resources of waterage promote the flourish of ports. Now, there are 165 ports along the coastlines and the business objectives and market positions of different ports are different in logistics sizes and strengths in our country. However, the goal of any logistics systems' reducing systematic cost and promoting customer's service level in what intensity depend on a kind of ability, which is called logistics capability. Modern port logistics bear the responsibility of realizing the double goal of high-efficient logistics and drives economic sustainable development of its hinterlands. Logistics capability is not only determined by the working efficiency of the logistics system of the whole port but also influenced by the whole supply chain and the economic development of its hinterlands. Therefore, the study of logistics capability and the relevant problems is meaningful for the improvement of port enterprises' key competitiveness and driving the sustainable development of regional economy.The domestic discussion about logistics capability starts relatively late, and especially logistics capability being used in a concrete industry is rarely few. The current discussions about port logistics depended mostly on qualitative analysis. Therefore, there are few relevant ripe theories and real experience examples, not to say a set of intact tools which can do a relatively more objective convincing appraisal about the level of logistics capability. Under such kind of background, the thesis constructs a set of evaluation index systems which is suitable for port logistics capability development of our country emphatically through drawing lessons from the research results of domestic and international relevant scholars, have chosen five major ports of our country as the research object, adopt both qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis which is more comprehensive to explain port logistics capability appraising method, analyze the main influence factors of the port logistics capability level, through analyzing the operation situation between the representative port groups of our country has found out one's own excellent inferior position, the rational strategy which provides the logistics of port of our country makes a reservation, through setting up the index system of port logistics capability analyzes the logistics capability of the five main ports of our country with method of AHP and GRA.The main meaning of this thesis lies in not only using the concept of logistics capability especially appraising method in a concrete industry, but obtaining the appraisal value of the five main ports by the combining the method of AHP and GRA, which offer a crosswise compare method among all the ports and certain theoretical foundation for port enterprise's development of our country.
