It is a type of economic zones and functional areas, highlighting the overall regional development requirements. It can be used not only as space governance in the planning and related policies, but also the basic geographical unit of country's classified regional contral policies.The construction of Major Function Oriented Zone is zoning, planning, policy and assessment "four-in-one." Among them, zoning is the basis and prerequisite, planning is the key link, the related policies and performance evaluation is the security conditions.
