Tourism has various forms from the ancient to nowadays. With the improvement of people's living standard, it has gradually become vital part of people's lives. As tourism develops rapidly named "smokeless industry" , traditional tourism shows many drawbacks, which destroys regional environment and resources. Besides, traditional tourism brings a series of negative influences to the tourism destination's society and culture. Under such background, traditional tourism should transit to be eco-tourism, improve present's tourism way and carry on the reasonable planning.The eco-tourism carrying capacity improves the tourism sustainable development. Its concept experiences four steps: carryingcapacity—environment carrying capacity—traveling environmentcarrying capacity—eco-tourism carrying capacity. Eco-tourismcarrying capacity's in this article means tourist area optimum bearing capacity for some tourism region, which is based on satisfying tourist's demand, lowest damage to natural and humanities ecological environment, even further promoting natural and the humanities ecological environment.Based on the predecessors' studies, this article elaborates the eco-tourism environment carrying capacity origin, domestic and foreign research development systematically. According to the study of Yingxian wooden tower in ShanXi province, the article from the humanities eco-tourism view studies the ecological environment carrying capacity, analyzes the relations between eco-tourism environment carrying capacity and tourism present situation for this scenic area. At last, article proposes the related measure in view of the crux in order to keep Yingxian wooden tower tourism develop continually.
