Research On The Model For Recycling And Disposal Of Waste Household Appliances Based On "7R"

Booming obsoletion of waste household appliances and inappropriate rejecting ways lead to worsening environmental pollution as well as waste to usable resources obtainable to those household appliances out of work. Many a country and region aware the importance of adopting appropriate ways to study and solve the problems to waste household appliances, endeavouring to protect environment and interest according to the feasible means of reclaiming and disposing of waste household appliances employed or their actual conditions."WEEE Directive"and"RoHS Directive"were carried into execution in different countries, many laws and rules have been issued. The affects caused by the two"Green barriers"on household appliances industry in China have been analyzed and feasible solutions have been put forward in this thesis.The actual conditions to recycling and disposal of WHA home and abroad, including EU, America and Japan, have been analyzed in this thesis. The actuality to recycling and disposal of WHA in Taiwan Area and Mainland of China will be analyzed in the thesis. These problems in the process of recycling and disposal of WHA have been dug out by comparison between domestic and overseas areas. Aiming at solving these problems, one new model of recycling and disposal of WHA has been put forward based on"7R", they are, reclaim, reuse, repair, remanufacture, resale, recycle and reprocess harmlessly. The system of recycling and disposal of WHA has been designed by illuminating and analysis to"7R".The core of the system is the disposal center of WHA. Three patterns of building up the center include Social forces coordinating for WHA disposal system, initiated by industries allied, initiated by manufacturers. This system has been divided into five patterns--Recycling pattern, Remanufacturing pattern, Resale pattern, Material reclaiming pattern and Reprocess harmlessly pattern. The five patterns form one integrated close-circuit net-work to establish environment-friendly society with high efficiency of reclaiming, recycling and reusing WHA resources.The thesis takes waste TV sets in Shenzhen for example based on previous study. Considering the actual obsoleting means, life span to the waste of TV sets in Shenzhen, volume of direct obsoleting waste TV sets, volume of obsoletion predicted, WHA reclaimed and preserved, volume of resources recycled, have been estimated, meanwhile, advice of recycling and disposal waste TV sets has been given based on"7R".The system of recycling and disposal WHA needs supporting system, and the thesis illustrates this issue at three levels, regulations by government, laws and technology level intending to guarantee this system operates smoothly.At the end of this thesis, conclusion and prospect of this research will be illustrated as well.
