Bioethics As The Apparent Threshold Of Food Safety In China

"Food safety"issue highlights long-standing and becomes increasingly serious day by day,Previous theoretical circles about "food safety " defines the concept only from the technical level, who have s a grievous moral flaw. The"food safety"from bioethics perspective refers to human survival and development of food around the area of humanity's life power, the healthy power and the moral code of conduct aroused by food supply, production,circulation and quality and other issues from person to person, man and nature, man and society. At present, the ethical dilemma in Chinese's food safety lies in the conflict between the main right to health and life and economic interests, from the bioethics view about"Food safety", precisely especially in making of transgenic food,using food additives and toxic food behind social ethics。From the bioethics view studying this phenomena,We've found that life sacred principles of abandonment,the value of rationality and rational tool for the dislocation, social integrity of the deficiencies and moral and law are the underlying causes of ethical dilemmas about food safety. There are two dimensions to resolve these issues: In theory,we should continue to stick to principles of respect, security, justice and health . through a system of interests balance and self-discipline transforming to others,take theory into practice ; In reality,the limited functions of the government is the solution to the problem while the integrity of enterprises is the key and consumers who have the right to health is the basis to solve the problem.
