Maize is one of the import crops in the word. In recent years, with the continuous development of maize industries, especially with the development and expansion of maize further processing, the demand for maize is increasing rapidly in industries, making maize prices rise in the international market. Supply and demand in maize market of China and world analysis shows that, since 2003, the world maize market is short supply, and the supply and demand gap has the trend of expansion. As the world's major maize-exporting country, the United States adjusted the stratagem of biological energy, the domestic demand for maize in fuel ethanol processing is increasing sharply, while exports resulting downward trend. This is both an opportunity and a challenge to other main maize production countries. China, the world's second-largest maize producer, after joining the WTO, facing opportunities and challenges, it is deserved to be analyzed and researched that how to make full use of China's advantages and enhance the efficiency of maize production and increase the supply of maize to ensure that the maize supply and demand balance. Jinlin is China's largest main maize production areas, but also China's important grain commodity base, a world famous"golden maize belt". The maize production in Jinlin Province is related to China's maize production. In this paper, we analyzed the macroeconomic impact factors in the maize production in Jilin Province firstly, then, based on the investigation with 120 farmers from 6 villages belonged to 4 counties in Siping City and Liaoyuan City, we have accessed to research data and first-hand information. Then, we organized them, and used C-D production function, OLS model to analyze the microeconomic impact factors in maize gross product and maize planting scale. From that, we have reached the following conclusions:1. Maize gross product and planting size are affected by many factors, witch are different slightly among different areas. Generally speaking, the results of this study show that the value of domestic agricultural equipment and labor costs all have a significant impact on output value of maize. The factors of farmers'educational level, the number of farmers in a family, and the value of domestic agriculture equipment have a marked impact on the planting scale of maize.2. The value of domestic agricultural equipment is one of the main fators in output value of maize, and is also the important factor in maize planting scale. The higher value of domestic agricultural equipment, witch shows that the farmer has the higher level of mechanization for maize production, the higher maize output. The higher value of domestic machinery shows that the farmer planted more maize, witch needs mechanize operation. Therefore, the two is significant positive correlation between them. This is fully consistent with the actual situation.3. The number of labor input has a significant impact on the output value of maize. This is China's current situation relating to agricultural production. China's current agricultural productivity level and technology level is not high, and maize production is still in its manpower stage, which is a labor-intensive production lines, so the more labor input, the higher degree of precision farming maize, and the higher output. This feature has also reflected in the local survey.4. Farmers educational level is more important factor in maize planting scale. This is because farmers higher level of education, the stronger ability to accept new things, the sensitive response to the market change, and according to market prices information, the can make rational adjustments for maize production in a timely manner. They can also introduce new technology of maize production and produce maize in a large scale. In recent years, the price of maize has been in a strong state, so the higher the education level of farmers, the price of maize will be able to pull the scale of production increasingly.5. The number of farming families is another important factor in maize planting scale. This is the same with the actual situation. Because China's farmers'cultivated land area is decided by the family farming population. As the survey area is mainly agricultural area, the main income of peasants is from agricultural production income, and family member mainly engage in farming, so the more the number of farmers, the greater scale of maize production. This is labor production factors on the impact of factors of maize gross product results.6. Maize price has a plus impact on maize planting scale. This is in line with economic significance. The price of a product rise, supply will increase together with it. But the effect of the price is not significant, witch shows that the farmers in survey area have a weak sense of market, and are not sensitive to the price change. This is also because it needs some times to adjust the maize planting scale.7. Fertilizer prices have a negative impact on maize planting scale. The higher corn price, farmers will choose to plant less maize. This also shows that the prices of production materials have an impact on the maize planting scale. With the rise in the price of production materials, farmers planting maize will increase the cost, when profits are more and more less, farmers will choose to grow crops requiring less fertilizer, or give up engaging in agricultural production.
