The Study Of Index System And Evaluation Models On Ecological Performance Of Enterprise Clusters

Enterprise clusters play a vital role in promoting local economic development and the regional competitive power. However, there are many environment problems in areas' developing process under the exclusive principle of economic benefit. Therefore, this article attempts to establish an evaluation system about ecological performance, in favor of forming better understanding in how the clusters' development influence ecological environment. In addition, it can help us to find out problems and improve them, Furthermore, to realize enterprise clusters' sustainable development in economic effect and ecological effect.Ecological performance of enterprise clusters is defined as its effect and efficiency in environment protection, we emphasize that ecological performance should be evaluated from two aspects of process and result. Next, we use "driving force—pressure—state—impact—response" framework to analyze the dynamic relationship between enterprise clusters and ecological system, and find out key factors of complex system, then we create a three-dimensional framework of "ecological efficiency—ecological effect—ecological response". Firstly, ecological efficiency's reduction will lead to the deterioration of area environment state, it means that ecological effect will become more depressed. Secondly, face to depressed ecological effect, enterprise clusters must adjust its behavior to adapt this change. Finally, this kind of ecological response will result in the improvement of ecological efficiency. In conclusion, the analysis framework use a logic paradigm of "reason—effect—response" to demonstrate the dynamic relationship between enterprise clusters and ecological system.According to the framework of ecological performance, we select some appropriate index to create evaluation index system, and determine the weights of every index more subjectively and objectively by combination determining weights, then we use linear weighted summation approach to calculate overall scores of ecological performance. Last, we choose a paper-making enterprise clusters in Binyang county of Guangxi province as a case to check up the application effect of evaluation index system.
