Application Of Benchmarking In Line Loss Management In A Power Supply Company

Benchmarking management is a comparing process to strengthen company competence force, as well as company's progress. The key point of benchmarking is to study to the most successful company, and to strengthen competence force by proceeded studying. At the same time, as an important benchmarking program, line loss management is a key economic and technological index. It makes direct effect upon company progress. In Power Supply Company, line loss management refers to electricity transmitting, transforming, supplying and using, so it reflects company's competence on operating and management.Basing on the theory of line loss management, benchmarking theory and the AHP theory, this thesis makes some important studies, just as follows.The first is study on the preparation of benchmarking management, including the leader group of benchmarking and the general evaluation. In this section, the author comes to a conclusion that line loss management is the key factor that need badly improvement.And then, this paper makes an overall study on the appliance of benchmarking management in A company, mainly including the indication system of line loss management and the application of AHP on the device of weighing coefficient system. In the end, the thesis gives out a future-state solution for A.And in the end of the thesis, the author gives some questions which should be taken great attention in the application of benchmarking management according to the experience, hoping to be useful to line loss management in some companies.
