Study On Geosite And Compatibility Between Its Protection And Exploitation In Guangdong Province, China

Geocite is a special type of resources with varied value, which was created and left over for mankind by geological functions. It is the direct object of geo-science studies, and the natural laboratory of geo-sciences and its teaching practices. Many geocites are also special tourism landscape resources. Therefore, it is a kind of unique natural resources.The geosites in Guangdong province are very resourceful. There are many kinds of geosites in Guangdong province, many of them are far-between and typical. With the development of the society and the economy, the inharmony problem between the protection and exploitation of Geocites is more and more serious. People either only emphasize passive protection only to make it function as geo-scientific research, with the result that geological remains are artificially confined to unfathomable geological palace hall and separated from the public, and what's more worse, something doing much little on its protection. Or people only put so much importance on some remains'tourist values, therefore its geo-scientific attributes are neglected and the resources are destroyed on the impulse of economic interests.On the base of the analysis of the Geosites'distribution and character in Guangdong province, the study analyzes the compatibility between protection and utility of the geosites in Guangdong province, and puts forward a principle of compatibility between protection and utility of the geosites in Guangdong province.Fengkai big blotch stone geological park is famous for that the mountain is formed by one stone. And the geological scientific meaning of the stone is very typical, far-between and its view is graceful. There are all kinds of geosites in the geopark, and the geosite in the geopark is very abundant and centralized. Regard the town of river as in the center; in range of about 100 sq. km. s, there are several totally different physiognomies: diorite physiognomy, sand shale needle physiognomy, carbonate rock physiognomy. The precious and complete ancient mankind's site of south of China also can be found in the geopark. All of these make Fengkai big blotch stone geological park have a good condition of building national geological park. On the basis of the field investigation and analysis, following the principle of the compatibility between protection and utility of the geosites resource in Guangdong, this paper put forward a reasonable protection and development utilize mode on Fengkai big blotch stone.
