Role Of Government In The Process Of Urbanization Of "Village Within City"

China is a traditional large agricultural country,in which ownership,economic operating system,household registration and social security system,and other social policies, environment,population,resources,history and culture have special circumstances.These constitute the unique system of social history and institutional background of Chinese urbanization and endow China characteristics of urbanization."Village within city" is a special historical phenomenon in the process of China's rural Urbanization.In the comprehensive influence of the mass media,"Village within city" is considered as the "malignant tumor" of a city.But in the real life,as a living model and the sum of social network,the village has its unique cultural connotation,and this cultural content will not disappear in a short period of time.The questions bearing "Village within city" is the embodiment of conflicting relationship between such cultural connotation and living structure and expected effects of urbanization.Therefore,it is very important to positively solve the problem of "Village within city" with proper solution to promote its economic management system and the social management system to the modern urban management system in order that "Village within city" could totally integration into the city become an integral part of the city,which becomes an urgent problem for the government to solve.This dissertation firstly introduces the status quo of the study of the characteristics of China's urbanization and the problem of"Village within city";then on the basis of the large number of interviews and questionnaires,thoroughly analysis the object---Yinjiabao village in Xiaodian District, Taiyuan;then puts forward the main issues of "Village within city" in the process of redevelopment and the role of government;in the final demonstrates the trend of "Village within city".
