The Study Of Main Function Region Zoning Of Fuzhou

With the advancement of globalization and the regional economy integration, urbanization and industrialization become increasingly accelerating. During this process, the space disorderred development, non-sustainable development were also constantly exposed, and the regional coordinated development was brought into disscusion. Accodingly, the landspace can be divided into four types of function zones in the outline of the "11th Five-Year Plan", namely, optimized, prioritized, limited development and banned exploitation. Fuzhou is one of the openned cities in southeast coast of China, and also the capital city of Fujian Province. Since the beginning of reform and opening up, the regional development has gotten great achievements. Yet, with further economic development, regional space issues were gradually expoesed, which became one of the restraining factors in developing. Under the guidance of the scientific development concept as well as sustainable development strategy, this article attempted to study the main function region zoning of Fuzhou, and give some consulting foundation for its social and economic coordinated development, also provide some theoretic methods for main function region zoning.Above all, this article defined the category of four types of function zones, and then reviewed, discussed the relative theories in-and-abroad, based which it raised the article theme. Then, it analysed the nature environment characteristics, social and economic situation, space distribution, current developing state and the main issues of Fuzhou. Linking with nation's zoning criterion, basing on concept of Resources Bearing Capacity, current exploring density and future growing potential, it build the index system , did the four types of function zoning by cluster analysis and dominant factor analysis, and put forward the zoning scheme. Following, it analysed the situation and issues in four types of function zoning. At last, it discussed the relative measures from the point of optimized, prioritized, limited development and banned exploitation areas.
