With the coming information age and the forming of a global market, collaboration among enterprises is closer and closer. Virtual enterprises are constantly emerging. Collaborative project management has become popular. There is a large amount of interaction and sharing of information, overlapping and changing of tasks, allocation, conflict and distributed collaboration of resources in the collaborative project. So, the risks of collaborative projects are more complex than those of traditional projects. As the most important part of project management, the risk management of collaborative projects can mean the success of the whole project. However, the development of the collaborative project management is presently in the initial stages. Risk analysis and risk control are still far from completion. Studying the current situation, the methods of risk identification, risk evaluation and risk control of collaborative projects were researched and the risk management system of collaborative projects was developed in this thesis. The main content of this paper includes the following:1.Analysis of characteristics of collaborative projects and their difference from traditional projects was described. Improving on traditional methods of risk identification, Risk identification feature-factor modelling method for collaborative projects was established according to the character of the collaborative project.2.Risk evaluation model for collaborative projects based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method was established. The model introduced the triangular fuzzy number to represent the experts'judgment information of risk factors and used the AHP to rank these factors. Thus, a detailed ranking of the risk factors by risk probability, risk loss and both of them was obtained. 3.Risk control of collaborative projects can be divided into three parts: risk planning, risk tracing, risk disposal. Risk planning of collaborative projects was extensively researched in this thesis. Risk plan model of collaborative project based on genetic algorithm was developed. In this model, the cost of risk planning was referenced as the aim. The plan which risk control cost least would be chosen only if the risk level can be kept within specified limits.4.According to the research on the theory, a collaborative project risk management system based on B/S structure was implemented through the Object Oriented Analysis process. The system was a subsystem of collaborative project management system.
