This paper works out the motivators in two typical enterprises by investigating, and does contrast analysis; then it gets the preference discrepancy in different gender, age, educational qualification and job level. It explains the different behavior and attitude in different enterprises, the result will use for the human resource management in enterprises.This paper, starting from organizational behavior, takes questionnaires to do contrast analysis of the configuration and preference discrepancy between the knowledge workers in stateowned enterprise and private enterprise. This paper, by doing principal analysis, works out 12 motivators, they are fairness, job character, colleague relation, working role, stimulation by director, rewarding and welfare, personal development, consistency of the enterprise, working environment, job indemnificatory, sense of belonging and wage earnings.In stateowned enterprise, rewarding and welfare, job indemnificatory and wage earnings rank the top three, while job character, rewarding and welfare and stimulation by director rank the top three in private enterprise. In stateowned enterprise, different gender has preference discrepancy on fairness, different age and job level have preference discrepancy on working role and stimulation by director, different age and educational qualification have preference discrepancy on colleague relation, while different educational qualification has educational qualification on personal development and wage earnings. In private enterprise, it has preference discrepancy on job character between different gender and educational qualification, preference discrepancy on wage earnings between different gender and job level, preference discrepancy on rewarding and welfare between different age and job level, preference discrepancy on working role between different age and educational qualification, preference discrepancy on personal development between different gender, preference discrepancy on fairness and job indemnificatory between different age.Finally, it puts forward six points for the human resource management in enterprise. They are improving pecuniary reward and elastic benefit system, enhancing job indemnificatory, by setting the job character to inspire workers, thinking much of the demand for sociality and esteem and so on.
