With the drastic competition of global economy, enterprises face many challenges: Shorter product natural life; Shorter lead time for product delivery; Low cost requirement; Better service; Quick response to market; High Flexibility,etc.All above items require enterprise to improve operation re control and application. Enterprise should improve operation management and optimize resource usage. It becomes more and more important to produce goods meeting the market requirement and building suitable operation management system.This article analyzes operation management theory. Then review KEW operation data management and production lot quantity. From analysis, it sums up some questions among operation management and studies how to improve them by scientific operation management theory and method.This article studies two improving programs: Operation data collection system and production lot quantity. For data collection system improvement, this article analyzes current data collection process and contents. Then review what problem is for current data collection system and raise the solution—Introduce Barcode System for data collection. Through computer system for data collection instead of manual data collection.For production lot quantity improvement, this article uses the same method and analyze current status first. Then review how to improve it by production data analysis and raise the solution—Reduce production lot quantity to half for better operation control, reduce work-in-process products, shorter cycle time for products, etc.This article is not only good to KEW operation system improvement, but also its study process, method, and result can be reference for other enterprise improvement.
