The Supply Chain Performance Study Of Ya'an City Border-selling Tea Processing Industry

Border-selling Tea,called Border-Tea,the brick tea which is specifically for the ethnic minorities to drink,is one of the life necessities to the majority of Tibetan masses. Nearly 30 years since the reform and opening up,Border-selling Tea industry has made attention achievements by the way of Ya'an City's policy advantages and geographical advantages.In 2002,national 7 ministries and commissions announced 25 designated enterprises for producing Border-selling Tea,Ya'an City has six selected,amount to 24 per cent of China's total.In 2007,the Border-selling Tea sales of Ya'an City have accounted over 60%of the Tibetan total sales.Now,Border-selling Tea products have already achieved balance between supply and demand in Tibetan areas.In the future for a long period of time,providing safe and high-value-added products will become the mainstream of Ya'an City Border-selling Tea processing industry's development.Supply chain,one of the latest organizational form of enterprise,can integrate original independent resources of many related enterprises or enterprise groups to produce a "1+1＞2" whole effectiveness.How to effectively integrate Ya'an City Border-selling Tea's processing industry so as to enhance the competitiveness of the industry is the major issue for solution at present.This article researches the Ya'an City's Border-selling Tea processing industry from the aspect of supply chain management,and presented a initial concept of Ya'an City Border-selling Tea processing industry,which makes the raw material purchasing, processing,distribution,related services and so on into an efficient supply chain management pattern,with the objective of meeting customers requirement.By the way of overall allocating the funds,logistics and information in supply chain,providing a effective solution to the Border-selling Tea products' food safety and customer satisfaction, promoting the standardization and normalization of Ya'an City Border-selling Tea processing industry,increasing the effective supply of products,lowering production costs, and ultimately improving the Ya'an City Border-selling Tea industry's market competition. In order to give a detailed and systematic analysis of Ya'an City Border-selling Tea processing industry's current status,this theory design a questionnaire from two aspects of operation performance and organization performance which based on it's supply chain management current status,and obtain necessary research data by the way of field survey.Then analyses the current status of Ya'an City Border-selling Tea processing industry by the way of AHP from the aspects of info management,organizational relationships,logistics,food secure and so on.And found proformance matrix in view of the above,describe the actual SCM manipulation level of Ya'an City Border-selling Tea processing industry in form of chart.Analysis shows that the SCM performance of Ya'an City Border-selling Tea processing industry is still at a low level.Specifically,there are three main issues:First,in the area of information,the construction and application of bar-code technology,EDI technology and electronic commerce are still very backward.Secondly,logistics have not yet formed an independent industry,various types of logistics are widely distributed in various departments,and it's still in the self-service,self-enclosed state,which makes it difficult to play the function.Finally,the lack of close cooperation with supply chain partners which based on shared interests led to many problems such as unstable supply of raw materials,product quality can not be guaranteed,and so on.There for,this thesis bring forward correspond countermeasures and advice:First,in the aspect of information construct,it needs quicken the promotion efforts of information management technology and construct industry information center.Secondly,logistics needs to improve the infrastructure construction and improve the logistics level,if necessary,introduce third-party logistics.Finally,organization management should strengthen the promotion efforts of SCM thinking and strengthen the cooperation of supply chain nodes.
