Under the background of the economy age based on the knowledge and network, our producing manner is experiencing the severe transform, which brings the great change and causes all kinds of shocks and difficulties to corporate culture. At the same time, with the fast development of technology and the enhancement of info-network, social order is becoming more complex and managing system and workers'assignment are being more specialized and elaborate. So objectively, managing idea is needed, which has the feature of knowledge and intelligence, and has the core of management based on the human beings.With the new angle, based on the reading of a large number of documents, the connotation and composition of the corporate culture and the influence of the age of knowledge-based economy to the modern corporate culture in all directions are analyzed; the nature and feature of the flexible management is stated, along with its present conditions and developing tendency; the fundamental function of the modern corporate culture to the flexible management is discussed; the important function and virtual value of the gentle management in shaping the modern corporate culture is studied primarily in this paper. The study of the practical significance of the flexible management in all the aspects of the modern corporate culture is emphasized; whether it is workable in building the modern corporate culture is discussed in the paper. The practical significance of promoting study of the flexible management to all the aspects of modern corporate culture is emphasized in the paper, which aims to explain the operating possibility of the flexible management. On the whole, the main idea of this paper is: under the influence of the age of knowledge-based economy, the flexible management and the modern corporate culture tend to mix together and impact each other; modern corporation has fully realized the continuing changes of the present development situations within and outside, and should employ this managing idea ------ flexible management which is conformed with the development regularity of the present corporation, in order to promote the shaping of its powerful modern corporate culture and enhance its core competitive ability essentially.
