With the rapid socio-economic development and technological advances of 21 st century,the age of knowledge economy is coming. The knowledge economy has not only brought a lot of knowledge and information and promoted the changes of people's lives and way of thinking, but also created a new era of leadership and management. Objects of management has gradually transformed from things into human resources, especially knowledge workers, which will affect the survival and development of enterprises to a large extent. As the people who can create, disseminate and apply knowledge, knowledge workers play a more and more important role in organization. They are cores of innovation and competitiveness improving, and also the foundation of survival and consistently development of enterprises and other organizations. How to manage knowledge workers in today's management community is facing new challenges. Compared to general workers, knowledge workers have different personality traits. Only with strengthening flexible management can help enterprises to face this management challenge, giving knowledge workers a good development platform for their talents in order to contribute themselves to enterprises. In addition, the rapid changes of business environment, diversity of business goals and rising complexity of enterprises have higher demands for senior managers in flexible management and leadership. In today's management activities, the trend of flexible leadership is becoming evident, and has gradually become inevitable in this knowledge economy age. Flexible leadership of corporate executives is the core of flexible management, and effective flexible leadership can enhance knowledge workers' enthusiasm, initiative and creativity. As a result that competitiveness of enterprises can be enhanced,and more lucrative corporate returns can be got. Therefore, flexible leadership development of corporate executives is extremely important. Based on the theory of knowledge workers, flexible leadership, and learn from the current academic research on flexible leadership,we make a full analysis of connotations and characteristics of knowledge workers and their impacts on businesses. Flexible leadership theories and behavioral mechanism were discussed as well. Use the latest flexible leadership theory to advocate flexible powers building,and analyze how to develop flexible leadership for corporate executives. Combined with the existing flexible management research methods, according to characteristics of knowledge workers,using the AHP methods,we propose construction strategy of flexible management system inside the company from five aspects which combines flexible work, performance evaluation, training flexible education, flexible encouragement and flexible communication to compensate for the lack of existing flexible management system, and provide a theoretical reference for corporate executives. These researches have a certain reference value for corporate leadership transition and effective leadership.
