The expense on petroleum including gasoline, diesel oil and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) is one of the key component costs for the business of a bus company. The cost increases as the price of petroleum goes up, but it is not possible to increase income for the bus companies in Guangzhou have little right to set the price of ticket. As a result, no profit can be made by these bus companies.The dissertation is to study allocating buses and drivers to optimized level, which will lead the profit to maximum. Three models were set up and tested the optimized level on parking location, bus allocation by month in the condition of enough drivers, shift arrangement by month in the condition of not enough drivers. These three models were proven to be able to assist bus company to increase profit by reduce cost and increase income.
