Research On The Supply Chain Collaborative Management Of Domestic Electric Appliance Chain Stores

With the growing purchasing power of domestic resident due to the nation's fast-growing economy, the capacity of domestic electric appliance market has reached 700 billion RMB in 2007 and the market is estimate to be＄1000 billion in 2010. Together with the bombing market share, domestic electric appliance chain stores (EACS) are undergoing dramatic expansion. However, the domestic EACS has lot to do on its supply chain management (SCM). For example, the tense relationship with suppliers, low logistic efficiency and performances, imperfect information system and customer relationship management. Facing with the challenge of foreign EACS in china, it is high time the domestic EACS upgrade its SCM and adapt to collaborative SCM with suppliers. Probing into the reformation of the SCM of domestic EACS is becoming a hot topic for scholar at home and abroad.Based on these situations, this paper takes domestic EACS as research object, after reviewing existing researches, the author analyses the SCM of domestic EACS and compare it with foreign experiences, and then put forward a scheme of collaborative SCM for domestic EACS. The scheme includes building collaborative inventory management mode with suppliers; setting up enterprises information system; optimizing the informative network of logistic and inventory; using a CRMS in its customer relationship management and building up a strategic partnership with suppliers.The paper takes GOME as an example at the end of the paper to apply the scheme. This paper aims to offer useful suggestions to domestic EACS to attain its core competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth under international competition.
