Present Situation Analysis And Countermeasure Research Of Urban-rural Harmonious Development In Chongqing

China has been on the stage of rapid urbanization, and is on the key phase of social and economic change between urban and rural area. But the disadvantage of dual structure between urban and rural that has been for long time is increasing obviously, influent seriously the sustainable development in regions and nations. For government and academics, the problem about how to harmonious development between urban and rural area is In the third plenary sessions of the Sixteenth Communist Party of China (CPC) National Congress, the government of China definitely puts forward to implant the strategy of urban-rural plan as a whole" and "the establishment is gradually advantageous to a system of changing the dual economy structure". This is the strategic idea and theoretical innovation and political guarantee. In the fifth plenary session of the Sixteenth Communist Party of China (CPC) National Congress, the central authority's calls for the whole country will adhere to the strategy of "urban-rural plan as a whole" and put forward to a major historic task in the future to construct a new socialist countryside in the process of urbanization. There are great both theoretical and practical meaning in studying on rational rural-urban relationship harmonious development.As one of the traditional old industrial places, the relation of Chongqing urban-rural areas, affected deeply by Chinese old system, was much worse than that of China. The lopsided development has been puzzling and blocking the healthy development of Chongqing especially in the transition of new and old system during which a series of new problems would come out. Therefore, it is very important for us to have a correct understanding of conditions of Chongqing urban-rural development, analyzing objectively and looking for methods of balancing their development positively to promote the development of economy and society of Chongqing. Based on the formed studying results of related theories, the author discussed the approaches of realizing coordinated development of Chongqing urban-rural areas in accordance with the reality of Chongqing urban-rural development.The dissertation is divided into seven different parts respectively analyzing the coordinated development of Chongqing urban-rural areas. The Part 1 introduced the backgrounds and the importance of urban-rural coordinated development. Part 2 introduced some concepts related to urban-rural coordinated development, put forward the concept of coordinated development of urban-rural areas. By analyzing related data, Part 3 showed objectively the conditions and existing problems of urban-rural lopsided development at present from the view of urban-rural factors interaction and changes of income and consume of urban-rural households. Part 4 discussed causes of the coordinated development of Chongqing urban-rural areas from points of view of internal and external factors. Part 5 summarizes the advance experience of the developed countries and regions and gets the revelation by analysis. On basis of detailed expatiations on principles and characteristics of the coordinated development of Chongqing urban-rural areas and analyses made above in Part 3 and Part 4, Part 6 brought about means of promoting urban-rural coordinated development. Part 7 summarized the thesis and pointed out problems and deficiencies in the course of disserting. During the transition of new and old systems, emphasizing the coordinated development of Chongqing urban-rural areas is especially instructive both to accelerate the economic and social development of Chongqing and to construct Chongqing economic zone.
