A Study On The Fusion Effect Of The Industrial Zones In Chongqing

The theme of development in the 21 century centers on the sustainable development of economy. At the 16th congress of CPC, the concept of scientific development upholding the belief of people first, the principle of integrated development of both the city and the countryside, and the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way were put forward. Again, building a harmonious society has been attached with an unprecedented importance in the eleventh five-year plan of the state.It is against that background, the Chongqing Municipality proposed an industrial development pattern called"3+30"to double the industrial capacity of the city. As the"3+30"industrial pattern has emerged, it is an important task to have a survey on the present development of Chongqing's industrial pattern, and then try to explore an effective way to secure a well-coordinated development of Chongqing's industry, which will serve as a guarantee to the sound development of Chongqing's economy.This paper from the domestic and international economic development of the park experience, use of the theory of regional economic development and industrial clustering theory, respectively, of the Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Park, the open area, the industrial park status, and its evaluation。This paper attempts to set up an indices system for the evaluation of the industrial fusion effect in light of the present industrial situation of Chongqing before a tentative proposal on the mechanism of coordinated development of its industry is made.
