Study On Employment Effect Of The Inner Structure Of The Tertiary Industry In Chongqing

The development of tertiary industry is closely related to the Chongqing economy growth, competitive strength, structure optimization, employment and the construction of a well-off society. It is also the key part of the coordinative development of urban and rural district, and the important point of the 11th five-year plan of Chongqing. Employment relates closely to our national economy and the people's livelihood, and is both social and economic problems. Especially, in the situation of"big city and big countryside", the employment situation is becoming more and more serious because unemployment in urban district and surplus labor in rural district. So, it is essential to study further on the inner rule and trend of the tertiary industry to guide its healthy development on the premise of combining the two problems. There are different industries and levels in tertiary industry, so the research work certainly points to the structure. The paper studies on the production and employment structure of the tertiary industry, and makes some inductions and summarizations of the common trend and long-term rule, which are the basis for the optimization of production and employment structure of the tertiary industry. In this way, the tertiary industry may develop healthily. This paper mainly analyses the trend and status of the production and employment structure of the tertiary industry, especially from the direct jurisdiction of Chongqing in 1997 until now, according to the compare with Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and the whole nation, by which means the paper finds out the problems existing in the industry structure evolution of Chongqing, then the causes and factors, after that, some constructive and pertinence suggestions are given.The paper includes five chapters. The first chapter gives the introduction of this paper, such as main thoughts, researching methods, key points, innovation, etc. The second chapter mainly introduces the concept and division methods of the tertiary industry, meanwhile, has a review of research in this field. The third chapter firstly analyses the interaction mechanism of production and employment structure, then pays more attention to the present status of the tertiary industry in Chongqing and the whole nation. After that, it finds out that traditional service sector still has the dominance while the neo-service sectors develop slowly. For example, the production and employment ratio of education, health, culture and entertainment do not coordinate at all. The forth chapter mainly studies on the factors which influence the inner structure evolution of the tertiary industry in Chongqing, such as low expenditure ratio on service in the national income, slow industrialization, low productivity of the first industry, low urbanization ratio and not open enough in economic fields. The fifth chapter gives a series of suggestions about how to optimize the inner structure of the tertiary industry in order to solve the existing problems, by this way, the Chongqing economy is on the fast way of health development.The research methods of this paper include document analysis, comparative analysis, and combination of standard analysis with empirical analysis, overall analysis with structure analysis.
